I finally got these to load. We have to beautiful trees and lots of fun decorations up. My favorites are the nativities. please come visit and share the season with us.

We are getting ready for Christmas. It is a favorite season for us. We always have fun with Kris because he is always a believer. The decorations are up inside and out. I am so thrilled to have the big nativity up. Our special friends Ken and Donna Mergenthal made it for us. We sure miss them. Lots of our favorite recipes came from them as well.

I am noticing how similar Kris is to Ryan and Nate at 5 and 6 years old. I always want him to behave differently and yet he seems to fit right in with his nephews now. They enjoy playing DS games together. They don't always eat what the rest of us do and want to be the winner at everything. They want to be the center of attention and choose what we will do. I sure enjoying playing games with all of them. I love to play games.

I am so blessed to be able to spend time with my grandchildren. We are going to visit Grandma Illa on Christmas day and then travel on to Staci and Steven. It has been too long and I can't wait to see them all!

Thanks to Kelly for her patience getting Kris in the photo and in catching Kris being Kris for our Christmas Photo.

We love you all and hope you have a terrific Christmas season remembering HE is the 'reason for the season'!

Michelle, Nate, Kelly, Ryan and Grandma had a fun afternoon 'picking' and carving pumpkins from our patch. The boys cleaned, carved and then painted their pumpkins. Nick was here, too but Mom is weaning him and he wasn't excited about the pumpkins. After a play break we came inside and frosted cookies. That was my favorite part but we sure did miss having Grandpa!
Later that evening Michelle took Kris and I to see High School Musical 3. We really enjoyed it even though Mr. Grump (Kris) kept showing up. Thanks Michelle, Kelly and boys for a 'falltastic' day!!

We have had a great fall. We have been camping, elk hunting and deer hunting with Jeff, Kelly, Michelle, Steve and their families. It has been wonderful. So many years have passed since we have been able to go and the motor home works terrific for Kris and we are so comfortable. We only have a few things left to repair. Because of the fuel prices we haven't traveled too far but we have had a great time!!

Kris is now working at NES although he doesn't love it yet. We hope he will soon start to bond with those he works with. He has grown and matured so much. He is a good uncle and tries to share even though it is hard for a five year old mind. We love him, still and he keeps us on our toes.

Dad's job is teetering daily. We don't know what will happen but Kris and I love the four tens because he gets to spend three days at home with us.

Our John Deere Grandpa...

Rex loves his green lawn mower and tractor. He has been busy all summer but last weekend he mowed the Lott's lawn, made a driveway for the Lundquists and cleared the backyard for the Ireaheta's. Our yard looks great due to his tender loving care. Thanks for all your hard work!!!

Michelle took Kris, Nate and me to see the Chipmunks at the Provo Mall. They put on a grand show that Kris and Nate enjoyed. After the show Michelle stood in line so they could get this photo with ALvin and Clair. Kris wanted his photo with Dave, maybe next time.
We celebrated some of our April birthdays Saturday night with dinner and ice cream cakes. It was so nice to have Erica with us this year. (I can't believe how much Jamison has grown.) We had Erica, Jeff, Kris and Rex but were missing Scott and Rich. Happy Birthday everyone!!

We had a busy weekend.
Jamey, Erica and their boys came to help Uncle Jeff with the computer...it was wonderful to see them. Grandpa and I took Kris, Spencer and Ryan to Jumping Jacks for a crazy morning. They had a great time.

Walleye

Rex went fishing today to Yuba and had a little "incident" before the trip really got started. Somehow, the hitch came away from the truck and went into the back of the tailgate. Not so great for us, but Jeff & Kelly say "better you than us."
